Catalogue Cover

I was looking through an AG catalogue the other day and started thinking about what I would want the cover to look like if I was in it. Finally I decided that I would like it to be of me and my Kirsten, her in her summer dress and me in a matching one. We would be by my lake either reading, or looking at the water, or something sweet, like the old catalogues.
So I was wondering, if you and your doll(s) could be on the cover of a catalogue, what would it look like? One special doll? Or all of them?? Agt or historical? Bitty baby? Hopscotch Hill? Retired doll or outfit? Matching outfits? Scene/setting? And what issue, a summer catalogue? Or maybe the huge holiday wish cataloge! I'd love to hear what you all come up with!!

I'm not totally sure. I think it would be great to be on the cover of a late spring/early summer catalog. Oh! I just got an idea, lol! I'd want it to be a picture of me with Kit in her Tree House outfit (don't have it yet, but since it's on sale...), up in a tree house! I think that would make a really cute picture! The tree would have big light green leaves (as a lot of trees do, lol). I would be holding Kit, and be either kneeling down, looking out the window of the tree house at the stream (I know where this picture would be taken at in PA), or sitting in the middle of the tree house playing cards with Kit. Hey, this could actually happen (maybe [img]tongue.gif[/img] ), since I'm technically within AG's target age range [img]wink.gif[/img] .

I think I'd like to be on the cover of a Holiday Wish book with my precious Molly. I've always loved wish books of every kind ever since I was younger. The cover could just be as simple as Molly and me in our matching evergreen velvet dresses...or candystripe PJs...amid wrapping paper and presents. It'd be just like the book illustration of Molly's Christmas morning. I'd be holding Molly like Molly held her nurse doll in the illustration. There'd be a 1944 radio in the background, and it'd be just like I stepped back in time to have a real '40s Christmas! [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Me and my doll, Reita (AGOT 20) would be on the cover of a summer cataglouge, She would be wearing the horselovers outfit and I would be in the matching shirt and jeans. We would be leaning against a paddock fence and there would be horses in the distance.

What great responses [img]smile.gif[/img] Laura I love your idea of a '40s Christmas! After a summer catalogue a holiday wish book one would be my second choice, I love those!

I think I would like a spring/summer catalog with Felicity. we would be in a field blowing bubbles or reading or playing with horses and we would wear matching dresses- either the summer gown or the birthday gown. Another fun cover would be with all my girls for a Christmas catalog but I'll have to think about that one more.

I've been thinking of making my own "catalog" in May with my "girls" posing in the outfits and all the items I own. Maybe i could make a small cover for it. Fun project for the summer for me.
